Out of the blue, COVID-19 set a new agenda. In many ways, it was a new beginning. For WODEN, the challenge was this: how to sell fashion sneakers to their dealers?
We developed a digital showroom in 3D combined with 2D videos in a scalable set up to reveal the Spring-Summer 2021 collection.
Showroom gone digital
“In March, we were greatly challenged without the prospect of trade expos and customer meetings. With the virtual showroom, we could suddenly engage customers all over the world. In the past week, I, for example, have had meetings with customers in New Zealand, Belgium, Russia and the USA, and they are crazy about the digital experience. The latest news is a planned entry into the exciting French market, which we previously have not had access to, but now that is possible thanks to the efficient digital platform, which contains everything it takes to appear attractive to customers,” says Carsten Holm, CEO, WODEN.
Hopefully, this is only the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Next scope is putting the experience into virtual reality.
